This Week at Christ Church

 

*  The Vestry will meet Tuesday night, Feb. 9th at 6:00 p.m.   All parishioners are invited to attend.

 

*  Our annual Seniors’ Valentine Luncheon is Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 12:00 noon.  All “seasoned” citizens are invited to attend.

 

*  The ECW will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 5:30 at the home of Allison Satterfield.  Allison will be the hostess and Lesa Prater will be the co-hostess.  All women are invited to attend.  If you have questions, you may contact Debby Simmons.

 

*  Fr. David has a new blog post about the Annual Diocesan Convention called "The Business of Conventions and Family Reunions."  You can read it at http://cec-albertville.blogspot.com.

 

*  Our Shrove Tuesday pancake supper is Tuesday, Feb. 16th.  We will begin with our regular Tuesday Eucharist at 5:30 p.m., followed by pancakes, sausages and decorations.

 

*  Our Ash Wednesday service, with the imposition of ashes, will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 17th.

 

* The Diocesan Convention begins Thursday, Feb. 11th and concludes on Saturday.  Please pray for our rector and delegates – Fr. David & Laura, Mark Hyatt, Odes Wilemon, Debby Simmons and Brenda Mayhall.

 

*  Parish office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (closed from 12:00 to 1:00 for lunch).
